The confluence of data science and public policy stands to revolutionize the way that practitioners at all levels of government, from city managers to federal policy analysts, do their job. As municipalities face greater challenges with constrained resources, the potential for data to improve the well-being of every citizen compels me to conduct further research in this area. I’m a driven and analytical individual who finds innovative ways to use information we already know to improve the outcomes of processes. I have committed my life to better understanding the factors that influence the success of cities and am passionate about helping cities in the areas of community and economic development, affordable housing, disaster recovery, financial well-being, and infrastructure.
