I'm an Internet producer, technologist, filmmaker and creative academic with expertise in video software product management, and community evangelism.
Recently I helped build the future of Internet TV at Brightcove where I managed relationships with strategic technology partners such as On2 and TiVo, media organizations such as The New York Times, and our community of content producers and beta-testers. I also designed the encoding and delivery specifications for all Brightcove-supported video formats as well as Brightcove's desktop encoding product for Mac OS X. This, combined with my previous experience with the design, development, and testing of software plug-ins for Adobe After Effects at Boris FX has given me significant technical expertise in video formats, and codecs combined with a high-level perspective of video production and distribution workflows within the industry.
As a member of the Interactive Media Design faculty at The New England Institute of Art, I developed the curriculum for the baccalaureate concentration in Digital Video and teach courses in social media, Internet video production and distribution, and motion graphics.
I frequently speak at conferences and industry events on disruptive technologies and processes in digital filmmaking and distribution and on the effective use of social media for media arts professionals and organizations. My production background included producing videos for clients such as Bose and Harvard Business School and have conducted advanced training seminars and workshops for clients such as WGBH, NBC, Raytheon, Polaroid, and Avid in Boston and New York.
I dropped out of high school to attend college early on a full academic scholarship where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor of Science degree in Media Production. I have an iconoclastic entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy rooting for the underdog and taking the road less traveled.

I’m the founder of Galvanize Storytelling, a strategic content consultancy that captivates audiences through stories that resonate. With over 15 years of experience spanning entertainment, media, strategy, and production, I’ve led content for top brands and media companies. Today, I work with business and marketing leaders to uncover their most compelling stories and craft programs that drive impact across a complex global content ecosystem. In a world where attention is fractured and ads are ignored, I help brands break through with stories people choose to engage with—because they’re relevant, entertaining, and valuable.
At Marriott International, I founded the company’s first-ever Global Content Marketing Department, building a 130+ member Center of Excellence across 38 hotel brands. My team created award-winning editorial, video, social, and digital content that drove tens of millions of dollars in direct bookings while earning 100+ industry honors, including Webbys, Tellys and Shortys. In 2023, I led Marriott into the streaming space with two Amazon Prime Video series, garnering 20M+ views and an 80% completion rate. I also launched Marriott Bonvoy’s TikTok and YouTube channels, driving a 1000% increase in followers and a 700% lift in brand sentiment. Additionally, I spearheaded custom content partnerships with The Washington Post, Vox, and Rolling Stone, oversaw the About the Journey podcast (Apple’s top 10 in travel), and reimagined Marriott’s digital travel magazine to rival top publishers.
Before Marriott, I built The Washington Post’s content studio into an industry leader, growing revenue sixfold and producing award-winning programs for brands like Microsoft, Mercedes, Coca-Cola, and Hulu. These roles gave me a unique perspective on what brands need and how media companies can deliver.
As a juror for the Webby and Shorty Awards and a speaker at events like SXSW and Sundance, I’m passionate about advancing the craft of storytelling. In 2019, I was named a Folio Top Woman in Media in the Industry Trailblazer category.
My journey began in Hollywood, where I worked as an entertainment attorney and producer, representing creative talent and developing feature films. That foundation shaped my belief in storytelling as a powerful tool for connection.
Driven by curiosity, creativity, and a deep understanding of what makes people care, I’m not just a marketer—I’m a catalyst for transformation. I help brands forge meaningful connections and tell stories that resonate, creating lasting impact in an ever-evolving world.
