Hey! I am Cassidy and I work on opening access to the financial system at Centrifuge. I have a foundation in economics and international finance. Through my previous work in institutions like the UN and the Fed I could see that the financial system needed to change, but it didn’t feel possible to do that from within the existing system. So I started building new solutions, and later worked with many teams to design their token economics. That’s how I started at Centrifuge — passionate about our mission to open up access to the financial system. We all know how important finance is in powering the world around us. But the financial system today is inaccessible for small businesses. Large financial institutions dominate the industry — and small businesses and small lenders alike are not able to gain access. Centrifuge steps in to change that. Centrifuge is real-world DeFi. It enables users to tokenize their assets in the real world and finance them on-chain: plugging into DeFi liquidity. We are building the future of fair finance where every business has affordable access to capital.
