Fiona Harvey, MPH

Fiona Harvey is a public health and wellness professional from New York City. Harvey has 10+ years' experience in the field of public health, including but not limited to the federal, city, higher education and non-profit level. Harvey has served in a variety of capacities in her public health career. Currently, she is the Assistant Director of Student Health and Wellness Support at the prestigious, Union Theological Seminary on the Columbia University campus. In the past, Fiona served as the Community Health Educator and Coordinator for the Queens Library, an organization that serves 2.3 million people across 66 locations. Fiona's Wellness Wednesday programs were presented LIVE weekly via social media on the Queens Public Library Instagram Page, reaching over 20,000 participants weekly. Harvey also served as the Wellness Program Manager for the 501 (c) 3 non-profit Active Plus. Active Plus is an organization that promotes healthy lifestyle choices through increased physical activity,and health education to improve the health of students. Fiona's educational background focuses on English Literature, Black Studies and Community/Global Health. She obtained her Masters of Public Health (MPH) from New York University, with a concentration in Community and International Health. She graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a dual degree in English Literature and Black Studies. Having studied abroad in Ghana and South Africa, Fiona recognizes the importance of cultural competency and the various narratives that we all have. Previously, Fiona served as a contractor and Public Health Associate for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), working in the field of health communications, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, immunizations and refugee health. Fiona also served as a member of the Public Health Associate Program Steering committee and served as the news reporter. At the center of Fiona's work is human connection.

With over 25 years of professional experience, I am a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing and delivering large-scale, complex IT Investments/Programs/Projects for various Federal Government Agencies. I combine Program and Project Management skills with IT Portfolio Management expertise, applying the Project Management Institute (PMI) Best Practices and Processes to overall Program/Project Management, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), and IT Portfolio Management (ITPfM). I apply Best Practices per the Technology Business Management (TBM) Framework in order to optimize and align IT Investments/Programs/Projects with the Agency/Department Strategic Goals and objectives. As an Account Executive at ITMC Solutions, LLC, I am the Point of Contact (POC) Lead for CPIC, IT Portfolio Management and TBM activities.
