David leverages his past professional experiences, whether working on the line as a cook and a chef in Cincinnati and New York City or picking salmon out of a net in Alaska as a commercial fisherman, to relate to clients who are working hard to create new and exciting possibilities for themselves and for the industries and markets they participate in.

Registered patent attorney and Ph.D. scientist with original scientific research and a broad scientific background in computational and molecular biology. Over 25 filed provisional patent applications and over a decade of IP experience including patent prosecution, prior art searching, patent opinion services, educating research scientists, and strategy development. Record of success working in diverse work environments including USPTO, large law firm, and large and start-up corporate environments. Experience procuring IP for large and small life science companies both as an in-house patent prosecutor and as outside counsel. Experience developing patent portfolios from the ground up. Demonstrable success persuasively arguing positions and collaborating with attorneys, research scientists, business leads, and patent examiners.
