With over nine years at MongoDB, I’ve helped scale the Engineering, Product, Security, Technical Support, and IT functions as the company grew from pre-IPO to a publicly traded global organization of 6,000+ employees. I am currently the Global Director of Tech Recruiting, overseeing strategy, execution, workforce planning, and culture development for a team of 40+ recruiters and managers across six countries. My focus is on driving operational excellence in hiring while fostering a high-performing and collaborative recruiting organization rooted in trust building, developing the best version of one’s self, and winning each week. Under my leadership, the team has consistently exceeded hiring targets, scaling our supported business units from under 500 to over 2,000 employees while improving key metrics such as offer acceptance rate, time-to-fill, recruiter productivity, and candidate experience. I partner closely with MongoDB’s executive leadership team including our CTO, CPO, CISO, CIO, and numerous SVPs, alongside HRBPs, FP&A, L&D, and Total Rewards, to align hiring strategy with long-term business goals. I’ve also led high-impact initiatives, such as developing multiple new talent acquisition teams to improve hiring agility, and played a vital role in recruiting related M&A efforts in high-growth areas like AI and Search. Beyond hiring, I’m passionate about coaching and developing recruiting talent and culture, having built L&D programs covering everything from technical hiring best practices to equity compensation training. Data-driven decision-making is at the core of my leadership approach, using tools like Tableau, Greenhouse, and Gem to forecast hiring needs and optimize performance, while constantly seeking out emerging tools and technologies. Ultimately, my goal is to build and scale a world-class recruiting organizations that attracts top talent and reinforces our unique and attractive culture.
