I have a background in Aerospace Engineering, but I decided to make a switch in 2017. While working as a stress analyst for military and commercial aircraft, I found myself most engaged when developing code and analyzing data. It seemed like a natural choice to pursue a career in Data Science. I am a problem solver who prefers to take a first principles approach to come up with a clear path to a forward thinking solution. I enjoy maximizing the potential of others whether it's through mentoring or improving the efficiency of processes and workflows. I love living in Utah and have been taking advantage of all this state has to offer. When I'm not in the office, you will probably find me outside rock climbing in the desert, sailing in a reservoir, trying not to go over the bars on my mountain bike, DJing a tango event in the city, or trying to figure out how to ski powder in the backcountry.
