I’m Charlie Shrem, one of Bitcoin’s early pioneers, a founding director of the Bitcoin Foundation, and a lifelong advocate for decentralized technology. Over a decade in the crypto space has given me unmatched insights, relationships, and expertise that I use to drive innovation and empower others.
As the co-founder of BitInstant in 2011, I helped shape Bitcoin’s early economy, enabling 30% of all Bitcoin transactions at its peak. Through my leadership at the Bitcoin Foundation, I advocated for the standardization, protection, and promotion of Bitcoin, laying the groundwork for today’s blockchain ecosystem. Later, as COO of Jaxx, I helped launch the first-ever multi-coin wallet, making digital asset management seamless for millions.
Today, I partner with trailblazing startups as an investor at Druid Ventures and manage diverse businesses through Amalgamated Suncoast Portfolio. I also host Untold Stories, a podcast uncovering the personal journeys behind crypto’s most influential leaders, with over 400 episodes to date.
