As founder and CEO of Unblocked, a marketing agency and hub for Blockchain education and information, I believe that blockchain, distributed ledgers and cryptocurrencies are changing our world for the better. By teaching people about blockchain I want to help solve society’s big questions and empower all individuals to reach their maximum potential. Those who don’t understand these technologies will miss out on fundamental opportunities for investment, wealth creation and social impact. And those who are already harnessing them can grow much faster by telling their tech stories more effectively and meaningfully.
Unblocked makes Blockchain technology accessible for a non-technical business audience. We act as a bridge between the technical and business worlds, helping executives to understand the opportunity Blockchain technology offers their business.
Previously, I set up Blockchain Intelligence Global, a global platform for news, networking and conferences about Blockchain technologies and worked at the Bitcoin Foundation where I launched Europe's first major Bitcoin conference and drove a programme of strategic events to communicate the innovative potential of Bitcoin and Blockchains to innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers and thought leaders.
Prior to moving into fintech, I founded The Stockholm Network, an events and research network of over 120 member organisations across Europe, to connect thought leaders and policy experts and create best practice in public policy making.
I am a regular conference speaker and commentator on cryptocurrencies, Blockchain technology and innovation policy for organisations including The Economist, The Times, and The Fintech Times. I am a co-founder of the Frontier Technology Association and a mentor for the Global Thinkers Forum, a non-profit promoting entrepreneurship and women's empowerment.
