I am a rising third-year student at The University of Texas School of Law. Prior to my enrollment at the law school, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on software and electrical engineering, from The University of Texas at Austin. During my undergraduate studies, I immersed myself in various projects that delved into software programming and the integration of embedded systems. Through these endeavors, I discovered my passion for patent law, sparked by the necessity to write reports that distinguished my projects from prior art. During my junior year, I enrolled in Finnegan’s IP University where I learned and practiced basic patent prosecution skills, further fueling my passion for the field. Adding to my experience, I interned as an EE Patent intern for Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw & Pittman LLP in Austin, Texas during the summer of my junior year. During this internship, I collaborated with various partners on patent prosecution and litigation matters, further expanding my interests in the area of patent law. In my 1L year at the University of Houston Law Center, I actively engaged in the legal community by participating in the Honorable Atlas Inn of Court as a pupil, the Houston Asian American Bar Association, and various student organizations.

As the Founder and CEO of BitBasel, I am passionate about connecting, educating, and empowering artists through decentralized technology. With over five years of experience in this role, I have successfully established a community-driven platform that fosters innovation and collaboration among creatives and technologists. In addition to my work at BitBasel, I also serve as the Miami Community Lead for the Florida Blockchain Business Association, where I advocate for smart blockchain legislation in the state of Florida. I have played a key role in helping pass three blockchain-focused legislative bills, including a fintech regulatory sandbox framework in 2019. My mission is to promote the adoption and development of blockchain technology across Florida and beyond.
