I'm passionate about leading growth-oriented technology businesses. During my 16 year tenure at Blackbaud, we grew from $90 million in revenue to over $700 million. I have led great teams, building a consulting services business from scratch and leading our enterprise business to achieve annual revenue growth rates of 20%. I have also managed our corporate development team identifying and executing on initiatives that have expanded our addressable market and strengthened our product portfolio. Prior to joining Blackbaud, I founded one software company, and played key leadership roles in two others. The first of these, Sales Technologies, was founded by associates of mine at McKinsey and proved to be a great learning experience as we built a $50 million software business that pioneered sales force automation and built a strong franchise in the pharmaceutical industry. I love working with highly energized teams that can be customer-focused, creative, aggressive and persistent. Blackbaud has been a fabulous journey for me, one that I feel privileged to have been a part of. Recently, I also took on a different type of role when I joined the board of a construction software company. Their investor, Pamlico, had brought together funding and a strong vision to create an exciting opportunity. As the independent board member, I have enjoyed being able to bring some outside thinking and contacts from my network to help them more quickly realize their goals. I then joined Pamlico's Advisory Board and in addition to evaluating investment opportunities have served/serve as an independent director with four cloud software portfolio companies. Personally, I am blessed to have a loving wife and two great kids that are pursuing their passions. I am very active in the local non-profit community and continue to pursue ways to strengthen this important part of the Charleston community. I have interests in pretty diverse areas including sailing, cruising, diving, travel, tennis and reading.
