Cleveland native, now based in Austin, TX. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, staying active outdoors, and watching Cleveland sports.
Professionally, I’m a Senior Account Executive at CB Insights, helping the world’s most innovative companies make data-driven decisions to grow & optimize their businesses.
In the past, I’ve worked at companies like Gartner, LivePerson, and Microsoft.
I also am currently involved in the following:
- President of the BGSU Marketing Advisory Board, giving back to students and faculty at my alma mater.
- Member of the Ohio Angel Collective, investing in Ohio-based startups or alongside Ohio-based funds.

Orson is a Master’s Student at Bowling Green State University, studying Music Composition with a TA position in Music Technology. Orson is a recent graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory where they obtained a BA in Cinema Studies and a BM in Technology in Music and Related Arts (TIMARA) with a minor in English. Orson has also involved with various extracurriculars at Oberlin, such as being the treasurer of Oberlin’s Modern Music Guild (MMG), a co-president of Oberlin’s Film Co-Operative, a Housing Assistant for Oberlin’s Office of Residential Life, an admissions ambassador, a Barefoot Dialogue facilitator, a TIMARA student ambassador, TA, and private lesson teacher, and also working as an audio engineer as part of Oberlin’s Conservatory Audio department. Their work has been featured at conferences and festivals worldwide.

I'm a Professor at the Kenan-Flagler Business School. I teach international business, management and corporate communication, and consulting skills-based courses in the Full-time MBA, MBA@UNC, Online MAC, STAR, Executive Development, and Undergraduate Business Programs. I serve as a UNC Fellow for the Vice Provost of Global Affairs.
I'm an experienced consultant and executive coach. To date, I've worked with clients in the U.S., Europe, and South America. I also serve as faculty for the Institute for Defense and Business as well as on the editorial board for two academic journals. I'm a Fellow for Helmwise and the Principal for Michael J. Meredith Consulting.
My research and teaching areas of interest include (but are not limited to): leadership, communication, presentation design and delivery, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), blended mobility pedagogy, message creation, professional writing, value proposition development, megatrends, social psychology, selling, international business, design thinking, go-to-market strategy, AI, and social media.
