Suguru Yamaryo is the President & CEO of ITC Venture Partners, a Corporate Venture Capital firm specializing in both Fund of Funds and Direct Investments, partnering with top-tier venture capital firms across the U.S. and Europe. With over 25 years of experience in corporate development, business development and operations, and investment across the tech sectors in Japan and the U.S., Suguru currently leads investments in both venture capital funds and startups. Prior to his current role, he served as President & CEO of ITOCHU Technology Ventures (ITV), a leading Tokyo-based venture capital firm. During his tenure, he successfully completed the formation of Fund VI in March 2025, securing a fund size of $115 million. Suguru has led investments in companies such as Box, 41st Parameter, SentinelOne, Orbital Insight, Standard Cognition, Astranis, Payjoy, Any Color, Infostellar, Pale Blue, and Sakana AI, as well as in top-tier VC funds. Additionally, he has spearheaded business development initiatives supporting the Japan market entry of over 20 startups. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Waseda University.
