Rishi is a markets professional in the cash and derivative markets, across both the exchange and OTC spheres, with a thorough understanding of the financial market value chain including front-to-back office functions, pre/post-trade processes and the impacts of regulation, technology, market macro/microstructure, fragmentation, evolution, consolidation and globalisation on today's financial markets. Rishi’s career in the financial markets spans more than 18 years, having held senior APAC-wide public policy positions at regulators and market-leading institutions in both Sydney and Hong Kong. His areas of interest and expertise include market regulation and policy developments in digital assets and fintech, ESG, sustainable finance and carbon markets, market infrastructure and microstructure, derivatives, the G20 reform programme, collateral and margin, benchmarks reform, capital, regulatory reporting and other regulatory policy and strategy matters. He is a well-respected industry advocate, with extensive experience interacting with senior market executives and regulators domestically, regionally and globally.
