Michael is the Director of Marketplace Product and employee #7 (2014) atTeePublic.com (acquired for $57mn by Redbubble in 2018), a website whose mission is to help independent artists turn their passion into profit. Starting his career as a web designer, Michael quickly rose to the role of Director of Product at TeePublic, leading their product organization up to and beyond their acquisition by Redbubble. Servicing 4 distinct user groups: artist, customer, partner, and admin, Michael oversaw TeePublic’s strategy and growth, seeing double digit net profit margin and zero venture capital. Michael specializes in scaling POD e-commerce products for customers, creators, printing networks, while scaling internal organization and strategy. In June 2019 Michael co-founded NYPM. NYPM is an independent, invitation-only group of product management leaders at NYC tech companies. We have over 30 members ranging from small non-profits to Fortune 500 for-profits and continue to grow.
