Professional Experience & Accomplishments Employment law Advice and Guidance • Provide legal advice and guidance to employers on local, state, and federal employment statutes and regulations (Title VII, ADA, FMLA, DOL, etc.). • Assist employers, managers, and HR with compliance as well as HR best practices. • Prepare and update summaries of federal and state laws and regulations. • Review employee handbooks. Labor law - Advice and Bargaining • Provide labor advice and updates to employers on National Labor Relations Act and NLRB decisions. • Bargain collective bargaining agreement for employers and represent management in grievances. Employment Investigations • Investigate allegations of harassment and workplace misconduct. • Draft investigation reports • Identify allegations and summarize statements from complainant(s) and witness(es). • Criminal investigations (2 ½ years).
