Danny is an established CEO and CTO in the fintech and marketplace industries. A problem solver, builder and turnaround leader, Danny has a unique track record of driving successful outcomes in legacy as well as disruptive financial and marketplace businesses. Most recently, he was the CEO at Apex Crypto, a turnkey offering providing the security and liquidity needed to seamlessly integrate crypto products onto clients’ platforms. Prior to Apex Crypto, Danny held a wide variety of CEO roles including Apex Clearing Corporation (formerly Penson), a subsidiary of PEAK6, online trading platform OptionsHouse (later sold to E*TRADE), and Spark Networks, a global company which owns and operates some of the leading dating platforms around the world.
A technical leader by background, Danny grew up developing proprietary trading platforms as well as leading risk management and back office functions. He served as Chief Technology Officer at PEAK6 and CIO at National Flood Services. 
After 25 years working as a software product designer and expert in UI/UX, I decided to pursue my passion working with music and helping artists realize their dreams of being heard. As mixing and mastering engineer, I provide independent musicians the opportunity to create professional-sounding releases without worrying about the expense or lack of access to traditional studios. I have recorded and produced multiple albums, eps, singles, and remixes over the years, and I have a deep knowledge of musical periods, styles, and genres. If you're a business, I also provide personalized, license-free music for social media and ad campaigns, as well as audio-post production and editing. 
I am a director of product management of Helix Financial Systems, a leading provider of technology solutions for the securities finance industry. I have over 25 years of experience in clearing, prime brokerage, and settlement in both technology and business roles.
My core competencies include product management, development, and marketing, as well as securities lending, fully paid lending/borrowing, equity derivatives, and crypto lending. I am also proficient in intelligent automation, robotic process automation, natural language, blockchain, NFTs, and DAO. I have multiple certifications in data science, fintech, and cryptocurrency, and I have published several articles in securities lending and finance journals.
My mission is to create and implement innovative and scalable products that meet the evolving needs and challenges of our clients and the market. I work closely with development, sales, and marketing teams to bring our products to market, and I source leads, provide demos, and create billing structures. I also identify key conferences and marketing partners to promote our products and online identity.
I am passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to deliver value-added solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and security in the securities finance industry.
