Rufus McLain has a distinguished career in operations and strategic leadership, with a proven ability to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation. Most recently, as a Strategic Consultant at Antelope Pets, he developed a plan that greatly reduced annual operating costs and order backlog. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer at Rare Candy, an online collectibles start-up, Rufus was instrumental in its rapid growth, overseeing operations, marketing, sales, FP&A, and HR, and driving a 750% revenue increase within the first year.
At Stitch Fix, Rufus held several key leadership roles over seven years, managing the P&L for eight warehouses across the U.S. and U.K., expanding the network from 500K to over 5 million square feet, and growing the warehouse team from 700 to 4,500+ employees. He was pivotal in navigating the company through the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring employee safety while maintaining operational continuity, which led to record sales of $2.1 billion.
