I recently made a career change to web development and I am extremely happy with that decision. Previously, I worked in the biotechnology industry conducting research as well as working in reagent manufacturing. Ultimately, this was not a career path that I wanted to continue, so I decided to try my hand at programming. I always loved creating and testing experiments at my previous positions, but I was looking for more creativity and independence in my work. I looked into programming because I knew people who were involved in the field and it looked intriguing to me. I tried a few online courses and then decided to apply to Launch Academy.
