I am a decision engineer and executive coach for Type-A professionals.
I am passionate about helping people make decisions with intention, from the small consistent microdecisions over time that govern how you show up as a leader, to the big macrodecisions you make about what direction to take next in business or life.
Clients appreciate my analytical approach to coaching - with a BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, I use a blend of decision science, design thinking, and systems thinking to help my clients achieve their goals.
When I'm not coaching, I enjoy teaching. Over the years I have led workshops both domestically and internationally, showing hundreds of driven professionals how to use the principles of decision engineering to grow their impact and find fulfillment. I've taught a business decision making course for Stanford Continuing Studies and helped redesign the decision making curriculum in Stanford's famous Design Your Life course. I served on the very first coaching team for Seth Godin's altMBA, am a founding member of the Forbes Coaches Council, and am a member of adjunct faculty at New Ventures West. I also host the podcast, Ask A Decision Engineer.
I am a Bay Area native based in Oakland, CA, who has traveled to every continent except Antarctica. In my free time, I enjoy dance, making things with my hands, spending time with my family, and eating good food.
