In my current role at the Ad Council, I pivoted my "for profit" career experience into the "not for profit" world at one of the most highly regarded organizations in the United States. The role is allowing me to give back to the industry and community that gives so much to me. At Ad Council, we tackle the most critical and urgent issues facing Americans and raise awareness for change and need for over 35 plus campaigns. My role leverages my strengths in building relationships, in bringing pragmatic thinking to problem solving, and in leading a team to exceptional achievement. Under my leadership, my team has driven historic levels of industry support most recently for the Covid-19 stay at home and social distance messaging. We secured innovative award winning partnerships with many of the most relevant emerging media platforms. We successfully launched the first Ad Council PMP, which will now be exclusively dedicated to the Covid Vaccine Education platform and created the vision for the Ad Council Media Advisory Committee made up of some of the best and brightest media minds in the business to provide counsel and advice for our everyday work. My most proud accomplishments in my career, prior to Ad Council, include leading the ad sales for the launch of the Oprah Winfrey Network, one of the most successful cable launches in recent history, now ten years young. At AOL, I was part of the leadership team that drove +20% revenue growth and oversaw several reorgs to optimize sales effectiveness. At Discovery Digital Media, I led the efforts to integrate HowStuffWorks into the Discovery Digital platform and drive its first major launch partnership. At Yahoo, we architected and executed the sales strategy for the first Global NFL livestream, launched StoryTellers, Yahoo's content marketing team designed to leverage insights and data. I embrace challenges, love to pivot in my career to take on the next learning and growth opportunity. I put my work, my team, and my family ahead of my own personal brand.
