Using a systems theory approach to problem solving I design business models/approaches to mobile finance and other ICT applications in rural areas that are profitable and serve the base of the pyramid. • I conduct research and provide consulting services. - Conducted primary/secondary research: mobile payments for farmers in Uganda, Zambia, Ghana - Designed: mobile finance input supplier scheme for cocoa farmers in Indonesia as well as mobile payments scheme for rice farmers in Ghana and Tanzania • Invited speaker at numerous venues throughout Africa, Asia, Europe and Washington DC. I enthusiastically speak about the power and potential of mobile finance and mobile solutions to impact the base of the pyramid in rural areas. • I have extensively published articles, blogs and research reports and make mobile money and blockchain related investments and do triathlons.
