I proudly served in army intelligence, including service in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait during Operation Desert Shield/Storm, and I am currently retired from military service. In my most recent engagement, I oversaw digital transformation and infrastructure modernization as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at a leading private university in Chile. Before my work in Latin America, I served as a senior technical consultant and practice manager at AWS in the US, leading cloud migration and modernization projects at the CTO level. My previous experience includes ten years as a CIO at universities in the US, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, along with roles in pre-sales engineering, business development, sales, and service delivery at Ellucian and Verizon. In addition to teaching as an adjunct faculty member at several universities, I also co-founded a liberal arts college, where I served as President and CEO in Dubai for two years. 
With over 10 years of experience in media and marketing, I am a passionate and versatile professional who can deliver impactful campaigns across different channels and industries. As the Senior Manager of Integrated Planning at UM MENAT, I lead the media strategy and execution for Alshaya Group, one of the largest retail conglomerates in the Middle East. I am also a co-founder of Sew Dhagga, a bespoke fashion design startup that combines creativity and sustainability.
I have a proven track record of managing complex and high-profile projects, such as the FIFA 22 digital media campaign for the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, where I helped increase the online visibility and engagement of the event. I am also a two-time recipient of the Campaign Middle East 30 under 30 award, which recognizes the most influential and innovative media and marketing professionals in the region. In addition to my professional skills, I am also a certified yoga and meditation instructor, and a music blogger, which reflect my diverse interests and passions. 
I am the Lead - AI & Data Engineering at PALO IT Singapore, a global innovation consultancy that helps organizations transform through technology and design. With over 10 years of experience in data science, I have a strong foundation in computer science and a deep understanding of various AI/ML techniques and tools, such as machine learning, natural language processing, and Python programming.
In my previous role as the Head of Data Science at Ai Palette, I led a team of talented data scientists and engineers who developed and deployed AI-powered solutions for the food and beverage industry. Our mission was to help our clients create novel and personalized products that match consumer preferences and trends, using our proprietary platform that leverages machine learning and natural language processing. I have also applied my skills and knowledge to various domains, such as fraud detection, electricity price forecasting, and credit risk modeling. I have published multiple papers in international conferences and journals, obtained several certifications from leading online platforms, and mentored aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators at F10 Incubator & Accelerator. I am passionate about solving complex problems with data and delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
