My team is resposible for finding the best technology in the world and integrating it into the most ambitious project on the planet. I am an experienced executive, entrepreneur and diplomat with expertise in high growth technology, international affairs, corporate governance and business leadership. Undergraduate degrees in Law and economics (USYD) and Masters in business (Stanford GSB). In 2021 I founded the Tech Council of Australia alongside the founders/CEOs of Australia's most successful tech companies including Atlassian, Canva, Afterpay, Culture Amp, and SafetyCulture and global giants including Google, Microsoft, and Stripe. For 6 years prior to founding the Tech Council I ran Australia's national tech startup advocacy organisation, StartupAUS, focused on helping grow Australia's startup ecosystem. Prior to joining StartupAUS, I spent five years in the Australian foreign service, including three years as a diplomat in Tel Aviv. During this time I led the Australian Embassy's strategy and analysis on regional security, as well as entrepreneurship, innovation, and tech policy. I have written extensively on developing technology ecosystems and unlocking the power of innovation to help drive economic value for companies and countries. I have also worked closely with governments on public policy settings to help enhance the economic value of tech sectors around the world.

For 17 years now, I have designed, managed, and launched numerous products and services for startups, corporates, and governments. In 2013, I co-founded a startup in Berlin called Somuchmore that was later acquired by Urban Sports Club. I have also worked on innovation and experience strategy for future mobility at Volkswagen. My experience spans across various industries, including Web3, Mobility, Health Tech, Sustainability, Food Tech, and Media. In a world full of challenges that need tackling, I am of the opinion that products and services should serve a purpose stemming from real human, societal, and business needs.

Matt has a global approach in general business practice, new media expertise and is a digital technology speaker and inventor. He has had over 25 years experience in the entertainment/sports/tech sectors. Over the last 6 years he founded Magnify World a global business event and studio focused on AR/VR experiences featuring the world's best start ups and fortune 500 companies. Matt is Co Founder for FansXR a sports & entertainment gaming company using augmented reality and XR360 to engage fans, brands, broadcasters and leagues and is also a director of PlayTally a Russell Wilson project that uses prediction technology to engage fans in real time.
