I work in the entrepreneurship and venture capital community as an advisor and an investor, and I'm also a 2019 MBA graduate of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. At Kellogg, I'm a guest lecturer at the Heizer Center for Private Equity and Venture Capital in the Kellogg Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative (KIEI). I mentor and train student teams in corporate innovation and on topics in venture capital such as due diligence, term sheets, valuation methods, and deal structuring, and I'm a judge and organizer for Kellogg's annual Venture Capital Investment Challenge. I also work with local VC funds and angel groups on deal sourcing and diligence to identify early-stage (pre-seed/seed/A) investment opportunities that fit the fund's thesis and check size but also address specific portfolio gaps and founder-specific needs. I look for entrepreneurs that want to execute scalable business models that can capture white space in rapidly-growing markets in industries such as eSports, Logistics/FreightTech, and AgTech. Through fellowship programs, advisory board roles, and independent engagements, I work with CEOs and operators at early-stage companies to help align the product and growth teams around frameworks and channel strategies that quickly grow revenue.
