I am a business leader (CEO/GM/COO/CFO) known for my expertise in corporate strategy, operations and finance. With over 15 years of experience in senior operating roles, working in both public and private companies, I have a proven record of driving growth and revenue (raised >$75M in venture, scaled teams from 18-70+ and led M+A transactions) for ecommerce, luxury fashion & consumer media businesses. In my roles, I have worked with CEOs & Boards to drive business strategy and build (& rationalize) the infrastructure and teams necessary for success: rigorous finance/accounting processes, streamlined global logistics, operations & HR systems, data-driven resource allocation processes, and people-based organizational design. Having managed, built and scaled digital-first companies, I have a deep understanding of digital consumer dynamics and operations (e-commerce & marketplace). I began my career in equity research and investment banking, which laid the foundation for my quantitative and stakeholder-centric approach to company building. I am a collaborative leader and curious polymath with graduate degrees in both finance/accounting and organizational psychology. My professional experience spans finance, B2B, luxury fashion, art, ecommerce and media, I am a certified yoga instructor and was an Ivy-champion collegiate swimmer. ______ As COO of Tamara Mellon, I led a $50M Series C raise from Centricus & NEA, scaled the team from 18->70 with multiple years of >100% YoY revenue growth, and built systems/teams/processes including an finance/accounting/HR, an innovative global supply chain solution, and a brick & mortar retail presence. (6-8 direct reports and managed a team of 30-40). As GM of Saatchi Art, I generated top-line growth of 40% with 30% improvement in EBITDA, transformed global shipping operations bringing them in-house improving both customer care and cost efficiency, stabilized core business operations and re-platformed the technology stack. (team of 30) As Head of Corporate Strategy & Investor Relations @ XO Group (NYSE: XOXO), I worked with the CEO to develop a corporate reorganization plan and led due diligence on M&A and strategic partnerships, all with Board-approved outcomes.
